How to Get Involved with PACE

With the generous help of members of the business community, we have built a strong foundation of services to help students and faculty make their business ideas a reality. Listed below are ways for business professionals to get involved.

  • VPIR: The Virtual Professional-in-Residence Program connects UH students and faculty with business experts by email and phone. Business professionals volunteer one to two hours of their time and expertise each month to advise on a wide array of industry topics.
  • COMPETITION MENTOR OR JUDGE: PACE administers the University of Hawaii Business Plan Competition and the statewide High School Business Plan and Marketing Plan Performance-Based Assessments. These competitions are intense and unique learning opportunities for students who aspire to pursue a business or marketing idea. PACE seeks volunteers who have at least five years of experience in any of the following areas: general business, finance, marketing or law.
