sPACE Code of Conduct

  • I agree to use sPACE to work on collaborative and entrepreneurial projects, and not for personal use.
  • I understand that sPACE is meant for common use by all UH students, and agree to behave professionally and respectfully to all others who use it.
  • If I bring in guests (non-UH students), I agree to be present and responsible for them during the duration of their stay.
  • I agree that all equipment in sPACE, such as white boards, flat-panel monitors, and printers will be used in a professional manner at all times.
  • I agree to not hold the University, Shidler College of Business, or Pacific Asian Center for Entrepreneurship liable for loss of software or data on a personal or university computer.
  • I agree to not store personal belongings in sPACE, and to not hold the University, Shidler College of Business, or Pacific Asian Center for Entrepreneurship liable for loss of personal items.
  • I agree to not remove any furniture or equipment from sPACE.
  • I agree to immediately inform PACE Staff of any problems with furniture or equipment.
  • I agree to keep a clean working environment by throwing dry rubbish in provided receptacles and food-related garbage in outdoor trash bins.
  • I understand that the 5th floor (E-502) is for administrative staff.
  • I shall not be in sPACE between the hours of 12:01 a.m. to 5:59 a.m., per Shidler College of Business building security policies.
  • I understand that the rooms are monitored by security cameras 24 hours a day.
  • If I have been assigned a door code, I agree to keep my code confidential, and not share it with others.
  • I understand that PACE has the right to terminate my access to sPACE at any time.
