Eligibility:
The giveaway is open to individuals who are 18 years or older at the time of entry and are current students of the University of Hawai‘i. Employees of the Pacific Asian Center for Entrepreneurship (PACE), its affiliates, Leaders, and their immediate family members are not eligible to participate.
How to Enter:
To enter, participants must:
- Follow @pacehawaii on Instagram during the giveaway period.
For extra entries (unlimited):
- Tag friends in the comments of the giveaway post (each tag = 1 entry)
- Reshare the giveaway post to your Instagram Stories
- Repost the giveaway post to your feed
- Instagram profile must be public on 9/12
Prize:
Two (2) winners will receive (1) Sony WH-1000XM4 or (1) AirPods Pro 2. The winner will be selected at the end of the giveaway period and must schedule a time to pick up the prize at BUSAD E402 (or told otherwise). More information will be provided to the selected winner via email or direct message via Instagram.
Winner Selection and Notification:
The winners will be randomly selected from all eligible entries received during the giveaway period. The winner will be notified via Instagram Direct Message within one (1) week after the giveaway period ends. The winner must respond within seven (7) days to claim the prize. If the winner does not respond within this timeframe, they forfeit the prize, and an alternate winner will be selected. The giveaway starts on August 18, 2025, and ends on September 11, 2025. Winners will be announced on September 12, 2025.
Prize Conditions:
The prize is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or any other items. PACE reserves the right to substitute the prize with another prize of equal or greater value if the original prize becomes unavailable.
Publicity:
By entering the giveaway, participants agree to allow PACE to use their name, likeness, and entry for promotional and marketing purposes without additional compensation.
General Conditions:
PACE reserves the right to disqualify any participant who violates these terms and conditions or engages in conduct deemed inappropriate, unethical, or illegal.
PACE is not responsible for any technical issues, human error, or other problems that may result in entries being lost, damaged, or incorrectly submitted.
By participating, entrants release and hold harmless PACE, its affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, and their respective directors, officers, employees, and agents from any and all liability arising from participation in the giveaway or the acceptance, use, or misuse of the prize.
Privacy:
Any personal information collected will be used solely for administering the giveaway and handled in accordance with PACE’s privacy policy.
Governing Law:
The giveaway and these terms are governed by the laws of the State of Hawai‘i. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of the State of Hawai‘i.
