MIKE SEPER
Mike Seper has experience in innovation, entrepreneurship, product development, marketing, AR/ VR and IP. He won the 2003 UH invention competition. Mike recently took top product honors and third overall award winner at the 2016 Missouri Innovation Week.
He is currently the associate director at the Skandalaris Center for Interdisciplinary Innovation and Entrepreneurship at Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri.
Mike was featured in Entrepreneur Magazine for a new zipline safety brake system featuring virtual reality monitoring. He runs Eco Zipline Tours, a company he founded in 2009. Eco Zipline Tours was the #1 rated attraction in Missouri during the summer of 2012 and has been the highest rated zipline in Missouri from 2010 to 2016. The company was recently named Future 50 as one of the 50 fast growing businesses in the St. Louis region. Mike and Eco Zipline Tours received the 2016 Pathfinder Award from the Missouri Governor’s Conference on Tourism.
Mike serviced as Vice President of the Entrepreneurship Club and graduated from the Shidler College of Business with a degree in Entrepreneurial Studies in 2004. He is interested in helping students at UH that have an interest in invention, innovation, entrepreneurship and AR/VR.
