CYNTHIA YAMASAKI

Cynthia Yamasaki is the Oʻahu Center Director for the Hawaiʻi Small Business Development Center. Cynthia has over three decades of diverse experience in leadership, entrepreneurship, business management, finance, business banking, human resources, and marketing. Throughout her career, Cynthia helps guide business owners and leaders across a wide spectrum of industries. Her experience includes senior leadership roles in financial institutions, corporations, family-owned businesses, nonprofits, and is a small business owner since 2007. Cynthia earned her MBA from the University of Phoenix and BA in Finance from the University of Hawaiʻi-Mānoa. She is certified as a Six Sigma Master Black Belt, Peer Group Counselor, and accredited Color Accounting workshop leader. She is an active member and public speaker for the Chamber of Commerce of Hawaii, ethnic chambers, and other business associations to educate and serve the needs of our small business community.
