ABOUT NICK C., MARK O., NICK S., & ANGEL V.

Bitter Root Brewery (BRB for short) was founded by 4 University of Hawaii at Manoa graduate students Nick Cetraro, Mark Oandasan, and Nick Sinclair, and Angel Valdez. Their mission is to create 100% locally produced beverages from locally sources ingredients in partnership with local farmers, students, and small businesses. They have since come up with a non-alcoholic version of their ginger beer and plan to make more products like ginger syrups and cookies out of their byproducts to ultimately produce zero waste at the end of the process. Future drink selections include turmeric ginger beer, mushroom ginger beer, and chile ginger beer.
