SEAN CURRY
Sean Curry operates at the intersection of Hawaii’s startup, technology, and innovation ecosystems. He is the founder of 85 Pacific, where he helps startup founders navigate R&D funding pathways, including federal SBIR/STTR programs, state incentive programs, private financing, and venture capital.
Previously, Sean worked at EY in Honolulu and PwC in Boston, specializing in the technology industry and supporting venture-backed R&D and technology companies across Boston and the Bay Area.
Sean studied finance at Bentley University, including a year at The University of Hong Kong. He is a Hawaii-licensed CPA and has taught introductory accounting and finance at UH West Oahu.
A former co-founder of a local small business startup, Sean brings both professional experience and entrepreneurial perspective to his work and is passionate about helping founders navigate next steps in their startup journeys.
