UNLEASHING THE ENTREPRENEURIAL POTENTIAL OF STUDENTS
RISE is designed to allow students to come together and explore their passions, solve complex problems, test their ideas, access support services, and launch companies within an environment that fosters collaboration, leadership, and entrepreneurship. Students from all UH campuses—not just RISE residents—will have access to PACE’s co-working space, meeting rooms, maker spaces, and educational programs which include mentorship, startup training, skills development, and funding.
PACE programs teach students to:
Solve complex problems
Flex their creativity muscle
Collaborate with people from diverse backgrounds
Communicate effectively
Build leadership capacity
Assess risk
Execute a plan
PACE AT RISE: AN ON-CAMPUS, COLLABORATIVE WORKSPACE FOR THE UH COMMUNITY
All UH students are welcome at RISE to work on entrepreneurial projects, meet other like-minded students, share ideas, form strategic partnerships, and receive technical startup advice.
Visitors are expected to follow the UH Code of Conduct and these PACE at RISE House Rules:
PACE at RISE is intended for work on collaborative and startup projects or business-related activities.
Requests to reserve classroom and meeting rooms must be made through PACE Staff by completing the online room reservation request form.
PACE at RISE users will behave professionally and respectfully to all who use the space.
PACE at RISE users will throw trash away in provided receptacles.
PACE at RISE users will use the white boards and meeting room space in a professional manner.
PACE at RISE users will inform PACE Staff of any damage to furniture or malfunctioning equipment.
PACE at RISE users will not remove furniture or equipment from the space.
PACE at RISE users will guard their personal belongings, including laptops and digital devices. PACE is not responsible for loss of software, data or personal items.
PACE at RISE users will abide by the hours set by building management.
RESERVE A ROOM AT RISE
Requests to reserve classroom and meeting rooms must be made by submitting the appropriate form. Rooms available for reservation include:
Classroom (capacity of 48 with tables; 80 with chairs only)
Kupu Conference Room 201 (capacity of 6)
Mana‘o Conference Room 203 (capacity of 4)
Hana Recording Studio Room 208 (capacity of 4)
Note: The large open flex area is not available for reservation.
