Dalee Yoon

Dalee Yoon holds a BA and MS from Korea University and a PhD from Purdue University. Her research focuses on corporate elites and entrepreneurship. In the area of corporate elites, she is particularly interested in founder CEOs. In entrepreneurship, her work centers on atypical entrepreneurs—such as part-time and academic entrepreneurs—especially during the early stages of their ventures. Over the years, she has worked with entrepreneurs across various types and stages, supporting their efforts in business development, commercialization, and financing. More recently, her work has focused on addressing equity gaps in early-stage funding, with a growing interest in alternative financing models such as crowdfunding.
