Ellen Ng
Ellen Ng is passionate about the implementation of blockchain technology for good. She is the founder of Inoa, a strategic Web3 consulting and implementation firm focused on real world asset tokenization with social impact outcomes through blockchain technology. Her journey to Web3 started when she became the Program Lead for the State of Hawaii’s Digital Currency Innovation Lab (DCIL). The DCIL was a pilot program focused on establishing a regulatory framework for crypto companies to operate in Hawaii without the need for a money transmitter license.
In 2021, she was selected by Pacific Business News as 40 Under 40 Honoree (Class of 2021) for her work in economic development while serving as an Economic Development Specialist with the Hawaii Technology Development Corporation, a state agency attached to the Hawaii State Department of Business, Economic Development and Tourism (DBEDT).
Ellen is multilingual with international working experience in technology for companies in the United States (Silicon Valley, San Diego, Honolulu), South Korea (Seoul), India (New Delhi), and Singapore. Her corporate experience spans both public (State Government of Hawaii) and private through a diverse range of companies in the tech and retail industries, with roles in strategy and planning, go-to-market, partnerships, and e-commerce.
