KAREN SPENCER
Karen Spencer coaches, consults, and works hands on with individuals, teams and businesses on strategy and development so they may confidently launch their entrepreneurial endeavors and grow their businesses. She has spent the last 10 years immersed in an area of entrepreneurship known as search funds, where individuals purchase stable, profitable, and enduring small and mid-sized businesses to own and grow them. Karen has been called the Walking Search Fund Wiki, the EtA Encyclopedia and (her favorite) Mrs. Searchfunder. She, as a co-founder of Searchfunder, is the quintessential guide for your entrepreneurial endeavor. She has authored the EtA Guidebook, pioneered VAULT—a digital video channel designed for entrepreneurs—and developed the EtA Launch Hub a pre-accelerator for aspiring searchers. Karen is dedicated to supporting BIPOC individuals, women, and other underrepresented aspiring entrepreneurs.
Karen received her Master of Science in Management from Stanford University’s Graduate School of Business and her J.D. from Harvard Law School. She is a registered patent attorney, receiving her B.S. from Massachusetts Institute of Technology in Chemical Engineering.
