STEPHEN HAUGSE

Stephen’s entrepreneurial career began when he started a retail business in Hawaii selling only flip flops. Through in depth research of tourism trends and a creative go-to-market strategy, he was able to build a profitable business quickly and scale to multiple locations.

Stephen’s success as an entrepreneur earned him the SBA Young Entrepreneur of the Year award, and was named one of the Top 50 Hawaii Executives by Hawaii Business Magazine. Stephen was named Outstanding MBA at Endless Frontier Labs for his success in helping a B2B SaaS company reach a critical value inflection point in growth through extensive market research, ideal customer profile analysis, and an effective sales & marketing strategy.

As a lifelong learner, Stephen is passionate about finding new ways to help businesses succeed. Through his innovative research strategies, Stephen has created new models for calculating TAM, identifying beachhead customers, and analyzing marketing strategies.

Stephen works on the Investment Team at H/L Ventures, a New York based Venture Capital firm. He holds a BA in Economics from UC Santa Barbara and an MBA from NYU Stern School of Business. Stephen is an active member of the Outrigger Canoe Club and is obsessed with outdoor recreation; primarily surfing and skiing.
