TERRY LEE

Terry Lee is the founder and president of Lee Financial Group Hawaii, Inc., established in 1988 with the launch of the Hawai‘i Municipal Fund (SURFX), a tax-free, no-load municipal bond fund. He later expanded the firm with the Lee Financial Mutual Fund family, including the Lee Financial Tactical Fund (LOVIX), a Morningstar 5-star rated equity fund. Under his leadership, the firm provided investment advisory services that helped thousands of families achieve their financial goals.

Earlier in his career, Terry was a financial consultant at Merrill Lynch. He holds a BBA from the University of Hawai‘i, served as a NASD arbitrator, and was president of the Hawai‘i chapter of the Securities Industry Association. His commitment to community extends beyond finance as he has also served on the boards of Easter Seals Hawai‘i and the American Diabetes Association.

Beyond finance, Terry is an entrepreneur, musician, and athlete. He successfully ran Art Avenue, a retail art shop with locations at Ala Moana Shopping Center, Windward Mall and Pearl Kai Shopping center for over 6 years.  An accomplished guitarist, his music album Horizon – featuring original compositions – won the 2001 Hawai‘i Music Awards Contemporary Album of the Year.

Terry also dedicates his energy to health and fitness. He is a certified NASM personal trainer and a black belt in Jiu-Jitsu, currently teaching as a self-defense instructor. A lifelong athlete, he has competed in national volleyball tournaments and coached high school teams, passing on his love for sports and teamwork to younger generations.
