THE KĪPAPA I KE ALA LECTURE SERIES WAS CREATED IN 2001 TO HELP US UNDERSTAND HOW OUR STATE MAY BENEFIT FROM THE FAST-PACED CHANGES IN THE WORLDWIDE MARKETPLACE.
Kīpapa i ke Ala translates “to pave a path,” which is a befitting title for the lectures that bring the best and brightest from the world of international business to share their knowledge with students, faculty and members of the greater Hawai‘i community.
The lecture series is organized by the Pacific Asian Center for Entrepreneurship, and is made possible by generous contributions from long-time friends of PACE and the Shidler College of Business, John & Franci Davidson, and the Emmett R. Quady Foundation. The Emmett R. Quady Foundation is an independent, charitable foundation. Established in 1997, the foundation provides aid to programs that support the arts, education and human services.
