KELLY HOLDEN

Kelly Holden, Ph.D. is an accomplished Marketing Department Faculty member at the University of Hawaii at Manoa, Shidler College of Business. She has a passion for teaching and was recently recognized for her excellence in the classroom by being awarded the Dennis Ching Junior Teaching Award for the 2021-2022 academic year. Kelly’s approach to teaching involves breaking down marketing concepts and theories and bringing real-world clients into the classroom to provide students with hands-on learning opportunities. By leveraging her extensive industry experience, Kelly prepares students for their professional careers.

In addition to her role as a professor, Kelly has over 20 years of experience as a marketing professional. She has a proven track record in strategy creation, execution, market research, and leading teams. Kelly began her career in the Midwest, where she spent over a decade before relocating to Hawaii in 2011. She has since served as a Marketing Director and Director of Market Research in the local market and continues to consult for companies. Her unique blend of academic and practical expertise allows her to bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to her students and clients alike.
