GARY YOSHIOKA
Gary Yoshioka serves as President of Diamond Bakery Company, Ltd., joining the family-owned, 100-year-old Company in 2015. He was previously with Pepsi Beverages Company, a division of PepsiCo, for 24 years. Starting in 1991 at Pepsi’s beverage headquarters, he held a series of marketing roles in customer marketing, innovation, CMO support, and brand management. In 1998, he returned to Hawaii to lead Pepsi’s Hawaii business. His operating unit won top performance awards and he was selected to Pepsi’s Leadership Academy. Gary began his career with Price Waterhouse in Honolulu.
He holds a BBA from the University of Hawaii at Manoa and an MBA from Northwestern University, Kellogg School of Management. He serves as President of the Kalihi Business Association and President of the Hawaii Food Manufacturers Association. With 30 years in innovation, he supports the startup and innovation ecosystem in Hawaii and works with a small group of startups. He is married to Jodi, and dad to Mia and Reyn.
