ABOUT THE SPEAKER
Henk B. Rogers is a Dutch-born computer game designer and serial entrepreneur. He is known for producing Japan’s first major role-playing video game The Black Onyx, and for revolutionizing the video game industry by securing the rights for the blockbuster game Tetris. Today Rogers serves as Chairman of Blue Planet Software, the sole agent for the Tetris franchise, founder of Blue Planet Foundation, a nonprofit clean energy advocate, and founder of Blue Startups, Hawaii’s first venture accelerator.

Henk will be sharing his experiences as an entrepreneur over the past 30 years. He will share his story of founding The Tetris Company and Blue Planet, including challenges he faced and keys to success for future entrepreneurs. Henk is very knowledgeable about the current business environment in Hawaii and will be talking about what it takes to be a successful entrepreneur in Hawaii today.
