ABOUT THE SPEAKER

Matt Hong and Luke Untermann are co-founders of Banán, a banana ice cream business. Upon graduating from college two years ago, the pair along with two friends, Zak Barry and Galen McCleary, came together to start a new venture. After a lot of brainstorming, research, and bananas, the foursome opened Banán as a food truck operation. Business boomed and the fellas turned to Kickstarter to expand their business. The campaign was a huge success, hitting its goal in just 72 hours. The co-founders opened their first Banan store five months ago across from UH.
